CCE Evaluation
CCE Evaluation
The acronym of CCE is Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. The newly educational system is introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education in India, for the classes’ first to tenth. With the help of CCE, a Teacher can evaluate every aspect of the child during their presence at the school. This might reduce the burden on the pupil not only at the time of examination and also before examinations as the student have to face many tests throughout the academic year. The method CCE has brought new changes from the traditional method of teaching provided it is implemented accurately. The same system also adapted by Andhra Pradesh Government in the form of RVM(Rajiv Vidhya Mission) .
CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) refers to a system of school based evaluation of a student that covers all aspects of a student ‘s development. Comprehensive means a scheme which covers both scholastic and co – scholastic aspects of the students growth and development. i.e., the all round development of a child’s personality. Evaluation is a continuous process and is spread over the entire span of the academic session.

Role of Parents
Here are a few words of advice for the parents to make sure that the child is not ‘filled up’ with information but enjoys learning.
* Go through the school diary and attend the PTMs regularly.
* Encourage your child to participate in activities.
* Please check class work and homework notebooks.
* Set realistic goals for your child and then focus on one at a time.
* Don’t make comparisons with friends or siblings.
* Help your child get organized – Break down assignments into smaller, more manageable parts.
* Please ensure that your child is well behaved and is regular.
* Each project work or activity is important, not because it is assessed, but it has a specific learning outcome. The project work, or any other oral activities should be given importance. Since CCE is a continuous system of evaluation , the child also needs to be alert and should do the duties with diligence and sincerity.
